On October 19, the five-member K-pop idol band V01D released their second mini-album, YOUTHQUAKE. A combination of the words “youth” and “quake,” YOUTHQUAKE represents the powerful movement and change created by today’s youth.

The album captures moments of youth in which we create our own world by transforming the uncertainty and wandering we experience into the strength to keep moving forward, embracing even the moments that shake us.
YOUTHQUAKE features V01D’s pre-release track “Ending Credit,” built around a powerful yet refreshing band sound. The song marks the end of V01D’s previous chapter, reflecting on the moments the members have shared as they step into a new phase of their journey.
“Ending Credit” captures the feeling of being able to dream again, expressing how something as simple as someone’s smile can inspire the strength to move forward together. It reflects V01D’s desire to run toward a new beginning after their first encounter. Every moment they share becomes a scene that remains with them, and at the end of each scene, a new beginning awaits with the person they will continue to walk alongside.
The members of V01D participated in the creation of their newly released album. “Ending Credit” was created in collaboration with 20Hz Sounds. Led by producer Park Seulgi (20Hz), 20Hz is known for its work with various artists, including EXO’s SUHO, SEVENTEEN, and NU’EST.

This leads into “Best Part,” a song dedicated to their fans that reminisces about the moments shared with those who have stayed by their side, celebrating them as some of the brightest scenes in their lives.
Finally, “Ending Credit” brings the album full circle, emphasizing the promise of a new beginning. Even when one scene comes to a close, the story continues, and the journey toward another beginning never ends.
